History of the Complex
1888
The construction of the cavalry barracks begins. The site consists of one- and two-storey buildings that are to become a part of the Kraków fortress.
1921
After Poland regains its independence, the barracks are chosen as a housing place for the 8th Uhlan Regiment of Prince Józef Poniatowski.
1939
Koszary zostają oddane krakowskim lotnikom. Od tego momentu historii koszary zaczynają ulegać
coraz większemu zniszczeniu.
1970
The Uhlan stables are completely demolished. The rest of the complex is converted into communal apartments and warehouses.
2000
Some of the buildings become a workspace for several small companies. The buildings gradually become derelict.
2012
Real Estate Development Company Start buys the complex from the Municipality of Krakow. The company sees great potential in the relinquished buildings.
2013
The works on the site begin. The state of the buildings is catastrophic. Restoring the complex to its former glory will take years.
2014 – 2016
The company buys more buildings that are to become a part of the business center. In the meantime the company makes sure that the complex complies with all the regulations.
2017

The construction works begin. A new office building is being built while the historical barracks are being renovated.
2021
The works are arduous, and the project needs several adjustments due to new findings on the site. Nevertheless, the tedious work bears first fruit.

The complex on Zawiła Street begins to flourish. The freshly built office building brings together the historical core and modern design.
2023
The complex is ready to open its gates for business and to regain its due position on the maps of Krakow.
